Terms and Conditions

Only adults aged 18 or older can place an order on sleevary.com, and every order is governed by these terms, which took effect Oct. 2, 2026. The books are for children, but the agreement described here is always between Sleevary and the adult who buys.

Sleevary run by DIAMOND NISHELLE EVANS FUNY LLC

Sleevary is the trading name of DIAMOND NISHELLE EVANS FUNY LLC, EIN 99-4781969, with its business address at 306 Craig St, Greensboro, NC 27406, United States. The company is the seller and the merchant of record on every order, which makes it responsible for the order from payment to delivery, while a US book distributor packs and ships the books for it.

Children’s books held to federal safety rules

Sleevary sells new books printed on paper by their publishers, in hardcover and paperback, and it does not alter them or add anything to them. Each publisher is responsible for making its books comply with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act and the rules that apply to children’s products, and the Product Safety page explains what that covers and what Sleevary does when a recall is announced.

Buyers aged 18 and older

A buyer must be at least 18 and must give a name, email address, and delivery address that are real and belong to the buyer or to the person receiving the books. Orders are for personal use and gifts, and an order that appears to be bought for resale, such as 40 copies of one title, can be declined with a full refund.

Listings written from the publisher’s details

The title, author, format, page count, publisher, reading age, and ISBN-13 on a listing come from the publisher’s records for that edition, and the summary was written for Sleevary. The Disclaimer explains what a cover photo, a reading age, and a page count can and cannot promise.

Availability confirmed after ordering

Listed prices, in US dollars, may move at any time before an order is placed, and once it is placed the order keeps the price shown at checkout. A title can sell out between payment and packing, in which case the Shipping Policy gives the customer three options, and a price listed by mistake is handled as the Payment Policy describes.

Contracts formed at shipment

An order placed on the site counts as an offer to buy, and the confirmation email only acknowledges that the offer arrived. The contract for each book is formed when the box ships and the shipping email goes out. Before then, Sleevary can decline an order, for instance because of a pricing error, a failed fraud check, or an address outside the delivery area, and the full amount of a declined order is credited back within 2 business days.

Charges made when the order is placed

The card or PayPal account is charged the full final price when the order is placed, not when the box ships. This is the same rule the Payment Policy states, and the two pages always say the same thing about it.

Cancellations limited to the first 6 hours

An order can be cancelled within 6 hours of placing it by emailing customer service with the order number, and the refund is credited within 2 business days. After 6 hours the books may already be with the distribution partner, and the Refund and Returns Policy becomes the way to send them back.

Delivery and return rules kept on separate pages

Two pages are incorporated into these terms in full, the Shipping Policy for delivery and the Refund and Returns Policy for returns, so the delivery estimate of 6 to 9 business days, the delivery area, the 30 days after delivery for starting a return, and the refund within 7 business days all apply to every order as those pages set them out.

Site use restricted to lawful shopping

sleevary.com may be used to browse, buy books, and contact customer service. Copying listings in bulk with automated tools, placing orders with someone else’s payment details, testing stolen cards, probing the site’s security, and anything else that breaks the law or slows the site for others are not allowed, and an order connected to such use can be cancelled.

Text and images owned by their creators

The summaries, page text, and design of sleevary.com belong to Sleevary, and the cover images, titles, and illustrations shown on listings belong to their publishers, authors, and illustrators. None of this content may be copied or reused for another purpose without permission from whoever owns it.

Third-party sites visited at the customer’s own risk

Links to carriers, PayPal, publishers, or government agencies lead to websites that Sleevary does not run, and their own terms and policies apply there.

Warranties limited to what the law requires

Apart from the commitments in the Refund and Returns Policy and any warranty that the law implies and does not allow a seller to exclude, Sleevary gives no other warranty about the books or the website, and the website is provided as available, without a promise that it will never be down.

Damages capped at the amount paid

Whatever the claim about an order, Sleevary and DIAMOND NISHELLE EVANS FUNY LLC together owe no more than the amount paid for that order, as far as the law permits, and neither owes anything for indirect or consequential losses. This cap does not apply to any liability that North Carolina or federal law does not allow a seller to limit.

Claims caused by misuse of the site

A customer whose misuse of the site or breach of these terms, such as a fraudulent order, costs Sleevary money agrees to cover those reasonable costs, including the cost of claims brought by others.

Disputes talked through before any filing

Before filing any claim, a customer and Sleevary agree to spend 45 days trying to settle the dispute by email, starting from a message to contact@sleevary.com that describes the problem and the outcome wanted. These terms contain neither an arbitration requirement nor a waiver of class actions, and a claim small enough for small claims court can be taken there at any time.

North Carolina law applied in Guilford County

North Carolina law governs these terms, without regard to rules that would point to another state’s law, and any court case goes to the state or federal courts serving Guilford County, North Carolina.

Events beyond control excused

Storms, floods, fires, power or internet failures, strikes, carrier shutdowns, and government orders can stop Sleevary or its partner from meeting a deadline, and a delay caused by such an event is not a breach of these terms. The customer keeps the right, described in the Shipping Policy, to cancel a delayed order for a full refund.

Invalid clauses separated from the rest

Should a court rule that one part of these terms cannot be enforced, only that part is narrowed or dropped, and every other part continues to apply.

Agreement completed by the linked policies

These terms and six linked pages form the complete agreement on any order between Sleevary and its customer: delivery is covered by the Shipping Policy, returns by the Refund and Returns Policy, charges by the Payment Policy, personal data by the Privacy Policy, opt-outs by Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, and the limits of listing information by the Disclaimer. Together they replace anything said earlier on the subject.

Updates posted with a new date

A new version of these terms shows its date in the opening paragraph, and each order follows whichever version was posted at the moment of purchase.
